Earlier this week in an interview online site indianvideogamer.com, country manager of Sony Computer Entertainment India revealed that Gran Turismo will now ship with not one, but two special editions.
In the interview, he states that “One is the game plus some added content and collectibles, while the other is in a really big package with a lot of paraphernalia that goes beyond the game,” he continued, “It’s all car-related, but I’m unaware of the exact contents.”
It’s already being speculated that the larger of the two editions will not be made available world wide due to shipping costs, as Bose went on to say, “”Being so expensive, we may not directly order it from Europe, but we could bring in limited quantities from Sony in the Middle East.” Mind you, he is speaking to press members on the other side of the globe in regards to this so how it effects the United States remains to be seen.
Regardless, this is pretty exciting news for fans of special edition games, and for fans of the Gran Turismo series.
