The new XBOX 360 controller first reported to us yesterday by our own Jason Rode has been made official today by Microsoft’s Major Nelson. As you can see, it’s a fairly sleek matte silver design. And if you’re one of those folks that’s not particularly fond of the d-pad on the current 360 controller, this new one is aimed at you. The new controller will come with a play and charge kit (in case you don’t already have 3 or 4 of those laying around the house) and will retail for $64.99. You can expect to find it on store shelves on November 9th.
