You may remember the old alien invasion strategy game XCOM from days of yore gone by (that’s what we call “college” around these parts). You may even remember when it was announced that 2K Games was rebooting the series as a first person shooter, and was slated to come out in March of 2012.
Well according to 2K, the game has been pushed back until fiscal 2013, pushing it back a whole year or more. The news was first brokered during 2K’s investor call today. No reason was given for the delay, but as we learn more, we’ll pass it on to you.
