If you’re an XBOX 360 owner who likes to use XBOX.com, get ready for some big changes coming your way. See, the website’s going to be getting a makeover, and we’ve got some details on the changes you can expect.
First off, the MY XBOX secion will be going away, to be replaced by a section called “Social” (pictured above) This section will allow you to better keep tabs on what your friends are up to on their XBOX 360′s. The Social section will also include a new feature called “Beacons.” Beacons can be used to mark a game that you are interested in playing online, allowing you and your friends to better connect with each other (this feature is also coming to the XBOX 360 dashboard soon).
Along with that, Zune functionality will becoming to XBOX.com, allowing you to search your videos or buy movies and TV shows right from your browser.
All of this looks pretty exciting, and should help improve an already solid social experience offered up on the XBOX 360.
