The video game industry is out to get me. They’re releasing too many RPG’s in a six month time period. This has already destroyed my productivity from time to time, as I sit there trying to push that level bar, or complete “just one more quest” in games like The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim or Star Wars: The Old Republic. Toss in both Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning this month, Mass Effect 3 shortly thereafter, and I don’t know how I’m going to find time to play them all.
So it’s only fitting that CD Projekt Red has decided to pig pile on with The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings for the XBOX 360. This was a series I was always interested in, but as a console gamer (for the most part), one I passed on the first time around. But with the game finally making it to consoles this Spring, I have no further excuses. And as we discover in this new Developer Diary, this game’s not just a port, but a retooled version of the game that was made with the console in mind.
